Yellow Ele

This is a baby yellow elephant who is just a bit sleepy. Lucky enough it has its own blanket to keep warm.

The ele is made from fleece and cotton fabric patterned with bees and cats. Its a really cute fabric, as is the duck fabric on the little blanket.

Commissioned Plush

I had a few commissions for plushies recently. One was a custom plushie made for a girl I work with called Estrela. I made a plushie version of the character design in the header of her blog. It was a nice design to adapt with a fair amount of detail.

The other commission was to make a sun and moon plush again, one of my favourites.

Blue Lady Plush

Its a little while since I made one of my lovely lady plushes. I finished her a couple of weeks ago and I was trying to decided what to do with her. I think I like this one too much to sell. I have her hanging on my wall and I'm not ready to give her away. Maybe in a little while, when I've made something to replace her on my wall...

Anyway, down to the details. I made her with felt and flannel that I hand dyed blue, and she has an embroidered face and blushed cheeks from the cold.

I made a teddy bear plushie. He is made from a soft wool herringbone fabric with a wool scarf around his neck. His face is embroidered and his arms and legs are a little moveable but you have to be gentle. One more animal left to make in this style.
